Job Title: CDL A Delivery Truck Driver

Join our team of dedicated professionals as a CDL A Delivery Truck Driver with TransForce. As a key member of our food distribution team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely delivery of essential goods to our customers.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious CDL A Delivery Truck Driver to join our team. As a driver, you will be responsible for delivering and unloading food and food-related products to customers in a safe and timely manner. You will also be required to perform pre- and post-trip inspections, maintain accurate records, and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes, delivering and unloading food and food-related products to customers.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure the safety and security of the vehicle and cargo.
  • Maintain accurate records of hours of service, fuel consumption, and other relevant data.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and colleagues to ensure smooth delivery operations.
  • Follow all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety policies.
Requirements:
  • CDL A license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
