Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist

Aureus Medical Group - Imaging is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join their team for a travel opportunity in Reno, Nevada.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing complex diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including cardiac, vascular, and general ultrasound exams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in imaging and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including cardiac, vascular, and general ultrasound exams
  • Operate sophisticated ultrasonic imaging units and reading and reporting systems
  • Keep current on technological advances within all aspects of imaging
  • Acquire necessary skills to perform new ultrasonic examinations and modalities
  • Review images for identification, technique, and completeness
  • Function as a role model and professional resource to patients, physicians, peers, and the general public
  • Provide training to new department staff members and sonography students
  • Participate in educational sessions and contribute technical and professional knowledge to students, allied health professionals, and physicians
Requirements:
  • Active registry with either Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCS or RVS) or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS, RVT, RDCS)
  • Minimum two-year clinical experience in the respective department
  • CPR certification upon hire, AHA BLS within 60 days of hire
