Position Overview

We are seeking a full-time Credit Risk Analyst. While onsite presence is preferred, remote work options are available. The Credit Risk Analyst will collaborate closely with various internal departments to evaluate, scrutinize, and determine the viability of merchant applications. This role necessitates the ability to exercise sound judgment and apply credit risk assessment principles when making funding determinations.

The ideal candidate will exhibit outstanding verbal and written communication skills, possess meticulous attention to detail, and demonstrate a strong sense of accountability.


Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in lending within the financial sector, ideally with a focus on small business financing
- Proven expertise in analyzing financial statements and assessing credit risk
- Proficient in MS Office suite and loan management software
- Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team
- Commitment to ethical practices and adherence to all regulatory standards
