Opportunity Overview
We are seeking a skilled Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team at a Level I Trauma hospital in Hartford, Connecticut. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a dedicated team of professionals.
Schedule and Case Volume
The successful candidate will have a Monday-Friday schedule from 7am to 4pm, with three weeknights per week, as well as Saturday/Sunday call from 7am to 7am. The hospital has a high surgical case volume of five cases per day, with an annual ER volume of 80,000 patients.
Cases Types and Patient Ages
The physician will primarily work with adult and geriatric patients, with occasional child/adolescent cases. The caseload will consist of adult and geriatric trauma, penetrating trauma, blunt trauma, chest tube insertion, cholecystectomy, appendectomy, and other procedures.
