Job Title: Dietitian

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Dietitian to join our team at Tarrytown Rehabilitation & Nursing Center. As a Dietitian, you will play a vital role in ensuring the nutritional well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
Assess the nutritional status of residents, including laboratory data, fluid status, energy and protein needs.
Evaluate and interpret data, review and modify plans of care, and deliver nutrition care to residents.
Provide nutrition-related information and technical assistance to residents and staff.
Accurately assess, plan and deliver nutrition care to residents fed by enteral means.
Prepare residents for self-management of nutrition care.
Collaborate with the Food Service Director to develop appropriate therapeutic diets.
Make referrals as necessary to other healthcare providers.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics from a regionally accredited college or university.
Completion of at least 900 hours of dietetics under the direct supervision of a registered dietitian or nutrition professional.
Certification as a dietitian or nutrition professional in NY State.
