Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Director of Government, Contracts & Pricing to lead our Commercial and Government Contracting Strategy and Pricing Committee. This role will work with a diverse portfolio across US government and commercial payer systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and structure pricing documents for presentation to the Pricing Committee
  • Provide guidance on performance, business risks, and opportunities to senior leadership
  • Collaborate with Marketing to ensure overall contracting strategies align with brand strategies
  • Create value-driven pricing guidelines to optimize access and profitability across product lines
  • Manage dashboards to report on key performance metrics, status, and timelines for action against existing and future contracts
  • Partner with Strategic Account Directors to advise on negotiations with customers for profitable business
  • Oversee contract development, including pre- and post-deal analysis, tracking, and reporting
  • Manage rebate and fee payments, including analysis and auditing of invoices
  • Collaborate with Finance and Commercial Ops to ensure accurate forecasting of list price, discounts, and allowances
  • Subject matter expert on ASP-based Pricing Models, Medicaid, Medicare, PHS/340B, and VA/DOD pricing calculations
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required, Advanced degree a plus
  • 10+ years experience in commercial pharmaceuticals/biotech industry with 5+ years in pricing and contracting analysis
  • Strong business acumen and contracting experience with diverse payment models, GPO contracting experience a plus
  • Current understanding of market access landscape impacting pharmaceuticals, including recent legislation, government payment models, and trends
  • Organized business management style with attention to detail
  • Comfortable presenting complex information with clarity and receptive to challenges
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package, including an annual bonus based on company performance. Our salary range for this position is $140,000 - $180,000 per year. We also provide comprehensive health coverage, flexibility for your lifestyle, and time off that counts.
