Job Summary

Southwoods Health is seeking a compassionate and energetic Medical Assistant to fill a position at our Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) office. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, clinical care to patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist Providers with patient care, including rooming patients and entering pertinent information in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
  • Answer phones and perform various duties such as point-of-care testing, EKGs, and phlebotomy as needed.
  • Some locations may require completion of clerical duties.
Requirements:
  • Medical assistant education is required.
  • 1 year or more of related experience is preferred.
Work Environment:

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 7:30am-4pm.
