We are currently seeking a Senior Finance Specialist who thrives in a supportive work environment and values a strong company culture. The ideal candidate will possess:

Qualifications:

- A Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance

- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, ideally within the service, distribution, or manufacturing sectors

- Familiarity with GAAP compliance

- The ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively with team members

- Proficiency in managing multiple tasks while maintaining a keen attention to detail

- Experience with QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise '23 is advantageous

- Knowledge of QB inventory and/or Advanced reporting is a significant plus

- Familiarity with SalesForce Classic is beneficial

- Intermediate Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and Filters

- HR experience is a plus

The successful candidate will demonstrate a proactive approach to their career, possess a strong attention to detail, and be willing to support colleagues across various departments to meet deadlines. They will have a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and a proven ability to solve financial challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee shared general ledger accounting, including month-end journal entries and reconciliations with the CFO, ultimately responsible for the initial review of monthly reconciliations

- Process daily accounts payable and assist with accounts receivable as necessary

- Manage Sales/Use Tax reporting and 1099 generation

- Collaborate closely with other departments, including parts warehouse and service teams, to ensure accurate and efficient data flow

- Contribute to the development of accounting processes and procedures

- Assist the CFO with monthly financial reports and related analyses

- Support the CFO with various HR tasks, such as onboarding and benefits administration
