We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our culinary team at Waterstone of Lexington, a premier senior living community in the Northeast. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional dining experience for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals for residents, including a la carte dishes and special dietary needs.
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all food safety protocols.
- Collaborate with our culinary team to plan and execute menu items, specials, and events.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents, responding to their dietary needs and preferences.
Requirements:
- 1+ year of experience in a culinary role, preferably in an assisted living or senior living setting.
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and ServSafe certification.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
