Job SummaryThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient evaluation and treatment, with experience in joint injection and trigger point injection. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to our patients, including patient education, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including medical history and review of pertinent medical records and imaging
- Evaluate clinical data and consult with the medical director and other team members as needed
- Diagnose and treat patients, including joint injection and trigger point injection
- Order and review appropriate tests and provide accurate and useful diagnostic information
- Provide patient education on diagnosis, treatment plan options, and expectations
- Document patient information accurately and timely
- Collaborate with the clinical and administrative staff to ensure comprehensive patient care and productivity
- Oversee management of medical assistants
- Graduation from an accredited NP/PA program
- PA/NP license in California
- Experience in joint injection and trigger point injection, starting IVs, and use of ultrasound guidance preferred
- Experience in orthopedic/physical medicine and rehabilitation or family medicine preferred
- 2 years of clinical experience as a PA/NP required
- Competitive hourly rate of $70-$80
- Full-time schedule (Monday-Friday, with Friday office hours ending at 1)
