Job Summary

This is a full-time hourly position with a rotating shift schedule that rotates weekly. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing all shipping documents and invoices, coordinating and arranging domestic and overseas shipments, and entering sale orders as directed by customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare shipping labels, documents, and invoices
  • Record shipments into the computer system and distribute reports to appropriate departments
  • File open orders, invoices, OEM accounts, and shipping documents
  • Troubleshoot and correct transportation discrepancies
  • Assist with timecard preparation and may serve as a back-up for the receptionist during lunch and break times
  • File freight damage claims with transportation companies
  • Perform work in a safe manner and follow all safety guidelines and procedures
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED with 6 months of experience in a related field
  • Current Driver's License
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbally
  • Proficient data entry skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Dependability under both supervised and unsupervised conditions
