Job Overview

This position involves daily servicing of guest rooms, hallways, and public spaces in accordance with hotel standards. Responsibilities include stocking carts with necessary supplies, changing bed linens, and replenishing guest amenities while adhering to safety and security protocols. Additionally, this role may involve deep cleaning tasks and preventative maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a friendly and service-oriented demeanor when interacting with guests and team members.
  • Ensure compliance with attendance standards as per hotel scheduling requirements.
  • Uphold high standards of personal grooming and appearance, including wearing the designated uniform and name tag.
  • Follow hotel regulations and standards to promote safe and efficient operations.
  • Thoroughly clean and restock the designated number of guest rooms during each shift.
  • Complete all pre-cleaning tasks, including preparing the housekeeping cart with necessary supplies.
  • Remove all waste and soiled linens from guest rooms.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors or management.
  • May require disassembling furniture or items in guest rooms for deep cleaning purposes.
  • Deep cleaning duties may include changing air conditioning filters, cleaning coils, and touching up paint or furniture.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred, along with experience in hospitality or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to convey information clearly and evaluate options quickly and accurately.
  • Capable of working well in high-pressure situations.
