Job Summary

The Perdue Farms team is seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance activities in our plant. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring all plant and equipment are in top operating condition, planning and implementing regular maintenance work, and supervising maintenance associates to ensure compliance with safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement maintenance activities to maximize production while adhering to standard safe practices and procedures.
  • Supervise maintenance associates to ensure compliance with safety procedures and minimize personal injury risks, environmental, and company asset damage.
  • Review and evaluate maintenance procedures to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Select, orient, train, assign, schedule, coach, counsel, and discipline staff as needed.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline or technical education equivalent preferred.
  • 0-3 years of related experience, with prior supervisory experience.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.

Working Conditions
  • May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.
  • May need to access files, supplies, and equipment.
  • Exposure to wet and moist floors, temperatures, and chemicals used in the poultry processing facility.
