Key Responsibilities:

  • Under the guidance of Registered Nurses, assess patients' physical, psychological, and social needs, contributing to personalized treatment plans.
  • Implement treatment protocols as directed by healthcare practitioners, including medication administration and diagnostic testing.
  • Participate in controlled substance counts and respond to health emergencies in accordance with established safety protocols.
  • Assist in minor surgical procedures and implement nutritional and therapeutic diet plans, ensuring clear communication with healthcare teams.
  • Engage in mandatory training and staff meetings, demonstrating commitment to ongoing professional development.

Qualifications:

Education: Graduate from an accredited nursing program.

Experience: A minimum of one year of clinical experience is preferred.

Licenses/Certifications: Must hold and maintain current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of employment and obtain CPR certification.
