Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery Specialist

Quik Travel Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery Specialist to join our team.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting.
Responsibilities- Monitor patient throughout (before/during/after) the labor
- Provide information, guidance and hands-on clinical care to expectant parents
- Monitor fetal heartbeat and length and strength of contractions during labor
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered to assigned patients
- Provide guidance to new parents on all aspects of recovery and infant care
- Respond to a medical emergency and alert appropriate team members
- Flexibility to travel to the assignment location
- Availability to work the facility's required schedule
- Willingness to complete onboarding items in a timely manner
- Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and strive for the highest quality of patient care
- 2 years of experience as a L&D nurse
- Graduate from an accredited nursing school
- Current state specific RN license in good standing, or if applicable, a compact state RN license in good standing
- BLS certification required
