Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Child Care Aide to join our team at Midlothian Independent School District. As a key member of our childcare center, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety of children, creating engaging lesson plans, and providing a wide range of learning experiences. You will work closely with the childcare center director to plan and implement daily activities, as well as maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times
  • Create lesson plans tailored to the age group and state guidelines
  • Develop and implement engaging learning experiences for children
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively with the childcare center director to plan daily activities

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of the Minimum Standards and Guidelines for childcare from the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services
  • Ability to work well with children and adults
  • CPR and First Aid certification (adult and child)

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including Clerical/Paraprofessional Pay Plan 1: ($12.25/hr), which equates to a estimated annual salary of $23,500 - $24,500 based on 187 days worked.
