Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Medical Customer Service Representative to join our team at Associated Retinal Consultants PC. As a Medical Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and their families, while also ensuring the smooth operation of our call center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer inbound calls in a call center setting, responding to patient inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Schedule patient appointments accurately and efficiently, utilizing our Practice Management System.
- Verify and record patient demographic, insurance, and other information, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Work collaboratively with our team of co-workers to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and ensure seamless communication between departments.
- Perform other clinical and administrative office functions as needed, including support for satellite offices.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience working in a medical office or call center environment preferred.
- Excellent phone etiquette, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient keyboarding skills and working knowledge of database systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Work Environment:
This is a full-time, non-exempt position, working Monday through Friday with varying hours. The ideal candidate will be able to lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds and sit for long periods of time.
