About Our Client

Our client is a well-established builder/developer in Ohio, specializing in multi-family projects. They prioritize employee success and are seeking a strong superintendent to grow and develop into a general superintendent role and beyond.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Building meaningful relationships with clients through regular communication
  • Treating clients with respect and understanding their needs
  • Conducting orientations with clients and owners during the construction experience
  • Developing lasting partnerships with vendors
  • Utilizing technology for scheduling, payment processing, and communication
  • Project scheduling and coordination of all construction activity
  • Reporting, documenting, and scheduling inspections
  • Monitoring site safety and SWPPP, working with 3rd party inspectors
  • Directing and maintaining an efficient building process
  • Overseeing all phases of the vertical construction process
  • Producing weekly project schedule updates
  • Reading specifications and blueprints to determine construction requirements
  • Ordering or requesting materials and supplies
  • Managing site cleanliness
  • Inspecting work progress, equipment, and construction sites to ensure specifications are met
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:
  • An associate's degree or equivalent experience as a construction manager/superintendent
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in multi-family and commercial development
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Effective time management skills to manage a busy work environment
  • Microsoft productivity experience preferred, but not required
  • Procore experience preferred, but not required
  • Must be extremely organized
  • Must be able to physically walk job sites of up to 5 stories by stairs for long periods of time
