We are seeking a skilled and patient Driving Instructor to join our team at Coastline Academy. As a Driving Instructor, you will play a crucial role in educating and advising students on safe driving practices, helping them to become confident and competent drivers.

Responsibilities
  • Teach practical skills related to all aspects of driving, including vehicle control, road safety, and emergency procedures.
  • Provide instruction on the rules of the road and help students develop a strong understanding of traffic laws and regulations.
  • Help students to develop confidence in their driving skills, including navigating complex road scenarios and handling emergency situations.
  • Document and report on students' progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance to help them improve.
  • Maintain timely communication with your supervisor and support team, ensuring seamless coordination and collaboration.
  • Maintain professionalism with students and fellow team members, upholding the highest standards of customer service and respect.
  • Attend team meetings for updates and ongoing development, staying informed about company initiatives and best practices.
Qualifications
  • A genuine passion for helping people learn and develop new skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in a learning environment, providing clear and effective instruction.
  • A valid State Driver's License in the state you wish to work in.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and reference check.
  • Must have 10 years of legal driving experience.
  • A strong safety mindset and strong reasoning ability.
  • Ability to give clear instruction, coach, communicate effectively to others.
  • Ability to focus for extended periods of time.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time in a vehicle.
  • Must be able to see and hear during all weather conditions.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, touch, feel.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
