Job Summary

The Distribution Center Lead is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of assigned shifts and associates at our distribution center. The successful candidate will assist with implementing work procedures to increase productivity and improve service within the operation.

Main Responsibilities

\
  • Oversight and assistance with the day-to-day activities of assigned shifts as instructed by the Distribution Center Supervisor.
  • Evaluation of team member performance and provision of training experience as needed.
  • Reinforcement of SEAL and Standard Work principles, along with implementation of the SEAL Operating Systems and Standard work to enhance productivity and service within the operation.
  • Record-keeping of receipt, storage, and distribution of equipment, supplies, and specialty items using centralized inventory control systems.
  • Supervision of maintenance activities for facilities, product handling equipment, and inventory warehousing control systems, both manual and automated.
  • Coordination of assigned warehousing activities with management and administration.
  • Championing safe working conditions and monitoring associates to ensure the safe operation of equipment within the warehouse.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate others to carry out assigned tasks effectively. Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite are essential, while experience in a similar role or industry is highly desirable.
