Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced attorney who can provide expert legal advice and representation to the City of Lakewood. The successful candidate will be responsible for prosecuting criminal matters, code violations, and civil infractions before the Lakewood Municipal Court and Pierce County District Court.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with law enforcement, judges, prosecutors, and other stakeholders. They will also possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to research and analyze complex legal issues.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must have a law degree from an accredited university and be admitted to the Washington State Bar Association. They should also have at least one year of experience practicing criminal law, preferably in a government agency or solo practice.
