We're seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Labor Finders. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and other complex systems. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet of vehicles.
Your Responsibilities
As a Diesel Mechanic, your duties will include:
- Consulting with customers to determine work required and reading orders to plan work procedures.
- Inspecting brake systems, steering mechanisms, transmissions, engines, and other parts of vehicles to identify potential issues.
- Reading and interpreting diagnostic test results to diagnose mechanical problems and performing repairs or replacements as needed.
- Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as changing oil, checking fluid levels, and rotating tires.
- Test-driving vehicles to ensure they run smoothly and safely.
- Keeping accurate logs of work completed and reporting on any issues encountered.
Your Qualifications
