About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Apex International. As a key member of our manufacturing operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our production equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance and repairs to ensure production equipment is running at optimal levels.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Execute preventive maintenance tasks to proactively prevent downtime and ensure equipment reliability.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair electronic systems and equipment used in the industrial manufacturing process.
  • Inventory Management: Administer the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to ensure accurate records and optimal inventory levels.
  • Safety and Housekeeping: Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Lean Manufacturing principles.
Requirements
  • 5 or more years of mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment and a High School Diploma (or equivalent)
  • 3 or more years' of relevant experience, along with a two-year Associate's degree or industry certification in industrial electronics or maintenance
Preferred Skills
  • Proficient in using processes and technology to improve the quality and efficiency of production
  • Able to maintain and grow technical knowledge and expertise
  • Accurate, precise, and attentive to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows XP through Windows 8, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Understands or capable of learning the company's MRP software and CMMS
