About the Position

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking a skilled Automotive Alignment Technician to join our team at one of our state-of-the-art automotive service, repair, and tire sales centers in the Jamison, PA area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Align newly-mounted tires and wheels on customer vehicles using the latest equipment
  • Measure and adjust caster, camber, toe, and thrust angles to ensure proper vehicle alignment
  • Complete state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes, and flat repairs as needed
  • Perform other required automotive services or vehicle repairs to customer vehicles

Requirements
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Possess 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires or any combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position
  • State inspection license preferred
Physical Demands

The physical demands of this position include standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing, pulling, reaching, and performing repeated and repetitive movements consistent with vehicle and tire maintenance and repair. Regularly lifting and/or moving items weighing over 50 pounds is also required.
