Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team at Addison Group.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with experience in building scalable and efficient software solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop software in an agile environment using various configuration management technologies.
  • Deliver technical designs, estimates of development time, and plan individual deliverable work.
  • Develop functionality with a focus on quality and assuring proper unit and integration test coverage.
  • Collaborate with QA team to support test plans and execution.
  • Prepare and present status updates for current work tasks, share any blocking items, and provide expected completion dates of work items.
  • Assist architects and leads with technical specifications and develop solutions in support of business requirements.
  • Work directly with team members and business analysts to understand new/changing business requirements and functional enhancements as requested.
  • Support existing business application(s) by troubleshooting issues, analyzing possible cause, defining solutions, and working through defined change control processes to enable quick resolution.
  • Acquire and maintain system and business knowledge needed to support both end users and other internal or external technical teams.
Requirements
  • 5+ years programming experience
  • Bachelor of Science degree from a 4-year accredited university
  • Computer Science, Computer Information Systems (CIS), or Management Information Systems (MIS) degree is preferred.
  • Proficient knowledge of various technologies including Angular, Typescript, HTML, Bootstrap, C#.Net, Entity Framework, Relational Databases, Git, REST APIs, and Visual Studio or Visual Studio Code.
  • Nice to have knowledge of SQL Server Reporting Services, Kendo UI for Angular, RabbitMQ, NServiceBus, ODATA, Test Driven Development, modern testing frameworks, Highway.Data.
