Job Summary

The University of St. Francis is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Athletic Training Student Worker to assist and support our Athletic Trainers in delivering sports medicine services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing treatment areas, providing patient care, and assisting with exercise programs.

Responsibilities
  • Treatment Area Preparation: Ensure the athletic training room is clean, organized, and ready for patient care.
  • Patient Care: Assist Athletic Trainers in providing medical care to student-athletes, including taping, setting up electric stimulation, and performing ultrasounds.
  • Exercise Programs: Assist with designing and implementing exercise programs to help student-athletes recover from injuries.
  • Paperwork and Record-Keeping: Help maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care and treatment.
  • Laundry and Cleaning: Maintain a clean and organized athletic training room, including daily laundry and cleaning tasks.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Work effectively with other Athletic Training Student Workers to complete tasks and projects.
Requirements
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Working Conditions

This is a part-time position, up to 20 hours per week, with a competitive hourly rate of $14.00.
