About the Role

Sonder Holdings, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our properties and delivering an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting and repairs, to ensure the upkeep of our properties.
  • Conduct thorough apartment walkthroughs and maintenance checks to identify and address any issues.
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors to complete projects and repairs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure compliance with all relevant safety and productivity guidelines.
  • Travel to various properties as required to support our operations team.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in operations and/or maintenance.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of skilled trades, such as HVAC, electrical, or carpentry.
  • Certifications in operations and maintenance, such as carpentry, electrical, HVAC, or plumbing, are a plus.
  • Ability to lift/carry items and stand/walk for extended periods of time.
  • Flexible schedule and willingness to work some weekends as business requires.
