Position Overview

Summary
We are in search of dedicated Early Childhood Educators to become part of Ebenezer Child Care Centers. Utilizing our E.P.I.C. curriculum, educators will inspire independence, creativity, and a love for learning. Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute educational programs by creating engaging classroom activities that align with developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards.
  • Organize individual and group activities that are age-appropriate to actively involve children and promote their social, cognitive, and emotional development.
  • Maintain open communication with parents through informal discussions, progress updates, and conferences.
  • Ensure compliance with all center policies and state regulations.
  • Foster a healthy classroom atmosphere by upholding hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards.
  • Keep accurate records and documentation.
  • Commit to ongoing professional development to enhance quality improvement.
  • Create a joyful and secure learning environment.
  • Establish routines that provide adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with children, colleagues, and families.
  • Provide updates to parents regarding their child's development and achievements.
  • Safeguard the health and safety of all children.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 1 year of professional experience in childcare.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills along with basic computer proficiency.
  • High energy levels and the ability to collaborate effectively with staff, children, and parents to cultivate a team-oriented environment.
  • A solid understanding of child development principles.
  • Certification in Infant/Child CPR and First Aid.
  • Successful completion of a comprehensive background check and health screening.
  • Level 11 on The Registry.
  • Physical requirements include the ability to walk frequently, use hands and fingers, handle objects, and communicate effectively at various levels. May also involve kneeling, bending, squatting, or crawling.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to see at varying distances.
  • Exceptional leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
