Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team in providing exceptional light mechanical services. As a key member of our shop, you will diagnose and repair issues on customer vehicles while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

About the Role:

  • Perform vehicle inspections and troubleshooting to determine required or recommended repairs
  • Diagnose malfunctions and perform necessary repairs, including replacing parts and components as needed
  • Conduct tire services, such as rotation, replacement, mounting, and balancing
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks, like lubrication, fluid replacements, coolant services, oil changes, filter services, and brake adjustments
  • Examine assigned vehicles to determine if further safety or service work is required
  • Verify vehicle serviceability and ensure quality repairs by conducting test drives and adjusting controls and systems as needed
  • Maintain clean and organized workspace, adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order according to operating procedures
  • Stay up-to-date with industry technology changes and terminology

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and one year of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Able to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers
  • Knowledge of automotive systems, tools, and repair processes for light mechanical services
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • ASE Certification preferred

Benefits:

This position offers competitive compensation and benefits, including a salary range of $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
