Position SummaryWe are currently seeking an Identity and Access Management (IdAM) Engineer to support our operations. This role is critical in providing mission support to the Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM).

The IdAM Engineer will be responsible for the architecture, development, engineering, integration, and operational support necessary to implement specified Non-Classified Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNET), Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNET), and Deployed Forces (DF) segments of the Department of Defense Information Network (DODIN).

Key Responsibilities- Plan, design, develop, engineer, integrate, and provide operational support for IdAM.
- Facilitate efficient IdAM service management processes by ensuring accurate configuration data.
- Maintain the integrity and accuracy of configurations necessary for service control through comprehensive configuration management records.
- Engage in Boards, Bureaus, Centers, Cells, and Working Groups (B2C2WG) to support NETCOM network solutions.
- Coordinate and maintain system documentation on IdAM capabilities for administrators at all levels.
- Demonstrate expertise in IdAM procedures, policies, technologies, and services.
- Utilize Microsoft Active Directory (AD), Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services (LDS), and Microsoft PowerShell scripts.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and familiar with Microsoft Visio.
- Support operational organizations in addressing RFCs and IAVA compliance.
- Identify, control, record, report, audit, and verify services and configuration items (CIs), including their versions and relationships.
- Design, build, test, and optimize IdAM hardware systems and components.
- Update existing IdAM systems to ensure compatibility with the latest software versions.
- Employ strong problem-solving skills and effective communication, both written and oral.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
- Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
- IAT Level II Certification (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent).
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or five (5+) years of relevant experience.
- Computing environment certification (CCNA) or equivalent within 6 months of hire.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- DoD Secret Clearance.
- Experience with Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services (AD LDS).
- Familiarity with scripting languages, particularly PowerShell.
- Experience in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment.
- Able to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Good interpersonal skills for communication with all management levels.
- Selected applicants will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- DOD Security Clearance is required (minimum Secret-Level).
- A DOD Interim Security Clearance (minimum Secret-Level) is acceptable until full clearance is granted.
This role may involve extended periods of sitting or standing, as well as typing and reading from a computer screen. Mobility is required, including bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily tasks efficiently. This may involve lifting weights up to thirty (30) pounds as necessary.
