Job Title: Installer - Medical Equipment

Mediacom Communications Corporation is seeking a skilled Installer - Medical Equipment to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring the highest level of service quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install and maintain cable television and broadband services in customer homes, ensuring seamless connectivity and optimal performance.
  • Customer Interaction: Drive company van and represent Mediacom to customers, providing excellent customer service and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Technical Expertise: Perform a variety of duties including installation, changes of service, additional outlet installation, disconnection of service, payment collection, and special requests, utilizing your technical expertise to resolve complex issues.
  • Quality Control: Analyze picture quality and judge acceptability of picture delivered following installation of cable service, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible experience.
  • Tool Proficiency: Use customary CATV hand and power tools in performance of job duties, including reading signal levels through use of field strength meter and adding and subtracting levels in installation problems.
  • Physical Demands: Install connectors on different types of drop cable, climb poles with proper equipment, and drive company vehicles in performance of job duties, using bucket truck as needed.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties such as clean-up and salvage of wrecked out materials, provide general assistance to other employees as directed, and inform customers of FCC Rules and Company policies as they pertain to customers.
Requirements:
  • Technical Knowledge: General level of mechanical and consumer devices knowledge, with ability to work with complex technical equipment.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work flexible work hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required, to meet the needs of our customers.
