POSITION SUMMARY

As an integral member of our team, you will be tasked with delivering outstanding customer service to designated accounts. This position involves the coordination of incoming and outgoing shipments, invoice management, and the resolution of customer inquiries and issues. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in the execution of company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) while ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction standards. Effective collaboration with various stakeholders, including vendors, sales personnel, and customer service representatives, is essential.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and maintain effective communication with clients and agents
  • Serve as a liaison between the warehouse and customers to address operational requirements and discrepancies
  • Foster productive relationships with clients, vendors, and industry partners
  • Oversee all aspects of assigned orders, including order entry, transportation scheduling, documentation, and customer support
  • Comply with company SOPs and quality assurance protocols for warehouse operations
  • Assist in the onboarding process for new clients
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to problem-solving initiatives
  • Collaborate with billing personnel to ensure accurate and timely invoicing
  • Maintain customer reporting for both internal and external stakeholders
  • Engage in customer meetings and contribute to departmental goal-setting
QUALIFICATIONS

To thrive in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:

Education & Experience:

A High School Diploma is required, with a preference for a college degree or relevant coursework. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field or completion of Logistics and Transportation courses is preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

Proficiency in inventory management, warehousing practices, and systems is essential. Strong mathematical and financial skills are necessary. Familiarity with MS Word applications and the ability to adapt to new software systems is required. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are critical. Candidates must demonstrate strong time management and teamwork abilities.

PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS

This role involves physical requirements and diverse work environments. Candidates should be capable of: standing, walking, lifting up to 49 pounds, climbing, and maintaining flexibility. Working conditions may include a cubicle setting or exposure to warehouse environments with varying noise levels and temperature fluctuations.
