Job Summary

Catholic Health Initiatives is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Echo Technologist Lead to join our team at St. Luke's Health–Sugar Land Hospital. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging department, you will be responsible for leading our team of technologists in the Echo / Imaging departments, ensuring the highest level of patient care and image quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the activities of the Echo / Imaging departments, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.

• Perform Echocardiograms, Stress Echo's, and assist in TEE's exams on patients, maintaining the highest level of image quality and patient safety.

• Coordinate and train new staff and students, ensuring they are equipped to provide excellent patient care and maintain high-quality images.

• Develop and maintain protocols and new techniques, working closely with the Medical Director to ensure compliance with diagnostic standards.

• Participate in quality control and quality assurance initiatives, ensuring that image quality is maintained and equipment is operational and safe.

• Collaborate with the supervisor to ensure all exams are completed and financial requirements are met, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree or one year certificate in Cardiac Sonography

• Registered by American Diagnostic Registry for Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)

• Five (5) years of related experience in Cardiac Sonography
