Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist at Solaris HealthCare Lake Zephyr, you will play a vital role in helping our residents overcome communication challenges and achieve their goals.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective speech therapy plans to address the unique needs of our residents
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify communication deficits and develop targeted interventions
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal outcomes
  • Provide education and support to residents, families, and caregivers on communication strategies and techniques
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in speech therapy
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech Pathology or equivalent
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC/SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association or eligibility for a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Licensure to practice as a speech-language pathologist in the state of Florida
  • Prior experience in speech therapy, preferred
  • Member of state and national American Speech and Hearing Association, preferred
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Proficient administrative and public relations skills
  • Thorough knowledge of speech therapy principles, methods, materials, and equipment
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with residents, families, and staff
