Pete's Tire Barns Inc. is a leading provider of tire services in New England. As a Fleet Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting, disassembling, repairing, assembling, and testing various types of automotive services on automobiles, trucks, and other vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform skilled work to diagnose and repair brake, air, and hydraulic systems
  • General knowledge of servicing, diagnosing, and repairing light and heavy-duty trucks
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals
  • Must maintain regular attendance and be at work on time each scheduled workday

Physical Demands:

Exerts 75 to 125 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 75 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Frequently reaches (extending hands and arms in any direction), handles (seizing, holding, grasping, turning, or working with hands), and identifies and distinguishes colors. Occasionally climbs (ascends or descends ladders, stairs, ramps, and the like), balances. Occasionally stoops (bending the body downward and forward by bending at the waist, legs and spine), and kneels (bending the legs at knee to come to rest on knee or knees).
