Job Summary

Ambercare is seeking a highly skilled Home Care Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our senior services team, you will be responsible for conducting in-home visits to monitor and report on the quality of services provided by Home Care Aides.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor Client Care: Conduct regular in-home visits to assess the quality of care provided to clients and ensure that their needs are being met.
  • Maintain Quality Standards: Ensure that all company and Department on Aging rules, regulations, and standards are being followed.
  • Conduct Home Visits: Welcome new clients, review welcome packets, and observe Home Care Aides in the client's home to ensure that care plans are being followed.
  • Prepare Reports: Accurately complete evaluation reports and case notes as needed.
  • Manage Schedules: Maintain schedules to ensure timely completion of all assigned home visits.
  • Attend Meetings: Participate in weekly branch meetings to stay informed and share knowledge.
  • Maintain Confidentiality: Ensure the confidentiality of sensitive client information at all times.
  • Meet Performance Expectations: Meet all productivity requirements and demonstrate a commitment to quality and customer service.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience working in the field of senior services or a related social service field.
  • Certifications: CNA certificate and license preferred; or similar training.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to represent the organization professionally, and a client-focused approach.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Transportation: Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and insurance for travel within the branch service areas.
