About the Job:

Aya Locums is seeking a skilled Urology Physician to join our team in a locum tenens capacity. As a Urology Physician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating urological disorders, including urinary tract infections, kidney stones, and prostate issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat urological disorders
  • Perform various surgical interventions, including cystoscopies, nephrectomies, and prostatectomies
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Provide consultation services to other members of the medical team regarding critically ill patients
  • Provide patient education about conditions, treatment options, and post-care management strategies
  • Maintain accurate and thorough medical records

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school
  • Residency training program in urology accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA)
  • Fellowship training in a urology specialty may be required
  • Board certification in urology by the American Board of Urology (ABU) or the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery (AOBS)
  • Active and unrestricted medical license in Georgia
  • At least one year of experience providing care in a clinical setting
