About the Job

Tact Staff is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to women in labor and their newborns. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to women in labor and their newborns
  • Assess patients' physical and emotional needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to physicians
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and new technologies
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of employment
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
