Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Virtual Care Specialist, providing remote occupational therapy services to patients across the United States. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions to promote improved functional abilities and independence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional functioning to determine their needs and goals.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings, ensuring alignment with patients' goals and objectives.
  • Provide remote occupational therapy services, including exercises, activities, and interventions to help patients achieve their goals and improve their functional abilities.
  • Educate patients and their caregivers on techniques and strategies to enhance their independence and well-being.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and other necessary documentation.
Requirements:
  • A Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • An active California State Occupational Therapy License.
  • Experience in a clinic or school setting or successful clinical interview.
  • Technical proficiency to conduct teletherapy through our all-inclusive platform.
  • Ability to work with pediatrics (18 months+), particularly those requiring feeding and/or hand therapy services.
  • Bilingualism in Spanish is preferred but not required.
Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $56.00 per hour, commensurate with experience, qualifications, and bilingualism. We offer a competitive compensation package, including reimbursement for California licensure after 90 days or 145 hours of work.
