About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate Hospice Music Therapist to join our team at Residential Home Health and Hospice. As a key member of our care team, you will provide professional music therapy to patients in Lisle, IL, and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide consistent music therapy sessions in accordance with company protocols and accepted certification practices
  • Inform and educate patients, staff, and facility partners about music therapy
  • Establish therapy objectives and plan, review, and assess therapy sessions to monitor effectiveness
  • Support patients' creative development and facilitate positive changes in their behavior and well-being
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Music Therapy degree
  • Current Board certified (MT-BC) credential
  • State music therapy licensing where required
  • At least six (6) months of work/education experience with geriatric health care
  • At least six (6) months of work/education experience with end-of-life/terminal illness health care
