Cedars-Sinai is seeking a highly motivated Clinical Research Data Specialist I to join their team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis and coding, with experience in related fields.

The Clinical Research Data Specialist I will be responsible for managing data for assigned research studies, designing forms for data collection, and performing clinical data abstraction.

The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage data for research studies
  • Design forms for data collection
  • Perform clinical data abstraction
  • Process clinical data using computer applications and database systems
  • Produce project reports
  • Maintain accurate and secure records systems
  • Understand regulations and policies to control and maintain accurate records
  • Perform data searches and administrative tasks
  • Maintain research practices using Good Clinical Practice guidelines
  • Maintain patient confidentiality according to HIPAA regulations

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree
  • One year of experience in related field, preferred
  • Experience with data analysis and coding using R is highly desired
