Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Scale Clerk to join our team at ADM. As a Scale Clerk, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our grain weighing and data entry processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Grain Weighing and Data Entry: Accurately weigh trucks and record data in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Grain Settlements: Assist in grain settlements from producers and commercials, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Grain Origination: Assist in grain origination efforts, including data entry and record-keeping.
  • Technology Support: Assist customers in learning new technology, including apps and software.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the team to achieve goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Commitment to Safety: Commitment to ADM's goal of achieving a zero injury culture and understand and follow company safety procedures.
  • Education and Experience: High school education or equivalent and previous experience in data entry and customer service.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to meet physical requirements of the position, including prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and from heights, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, and moving up to 50 pounds.
