Physical Therapist Assistant

Select Medical is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in the Mechanicsville-Richmond, VA area. As a key member of our outpatient orthopedic team, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the development of individualized treatment plans.
Responsibilities- Assist licensed physical therapists in carrying out prescribed treatment programs under the direction of a licensed physical therapist.
- Implement high-quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers, and facilities in accordance with physical therapy principles and Select Medical policies.
- Maintain positive interactions with facilities and clients, enhancing and expanding client relations.
- Graduation from an approved curriculum for Physical Therapist Assistants and passing a national examination certified by the CAPTE.
- State PTA license valid in the state of practice.
- CPR certification.
