Job Title: Travel Imaging Technologist

Epic Travel Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel Imaging Technologist to join our team. As a Travel Imaging Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) and X-ray equipment.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Travel Imaging Technologist to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiologic technology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using CT and X-ray equipment
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
  • Develop and implement patient care plans, taking into account individual needs and medical histories
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices
Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience in radiologic technology
  • Community hospital experience preferred
  • X-ray procedure experience required: extremities (upper/lower), abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, musculoskeletal
  • ARRT certification required
  • GE and PACS experience preferred
  • Preparation and/or administration of contrast media required
  • Starting Peripheral IVs required
  • Venipuncture required
  • BLS certification required
Work Environment:

This position is located in a 154-bed acute care hospital with a dynamic and supportive team. The hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art imaging equipment, including CT and X-ray machines.
