  • Assist clients with transportation to appointments, shopping, or recreational activities.
  • Provide companionship and engage clients in activities that promote mental and social engagement.
  • Follow care plans as outlined by healthcare professionals and report any notable changes in clients' conditions.
  • Support clients with mobility and physical therapy exercises.
  • Uphold clients' rights and maintain confidentiality regarding personal information.
  • Document and communicate care provided and any changes observed in clients' conditions or behaviors.
  • Effectively communicate with clients, families, and members of the healthcare team.
  • Manage emergency situations efficiently, administering basic first aid and CPR when necessary.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and ongoing education to maintain professional standards.
  • Comply with all relevant laws, policies, and ethical standards.
  • Provide end-of-life care as required, offering emotional support and comfort to clients and their families.
Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification in CPR and first aid.
  • Previous experience in caregiving or a similar role is preferred.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Physical capability to perform caregiving tasks and assist with mobility.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a commitment to providing compassionate care.
  • Basic understanding of hygiene and healthcare practices.
  • Ability to adhere to health and safety standards.
  • Flexibility with work hours, including availability for evening, overnight, and weekend shifts.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Willingness to engage in ongoing training and professional development.
  • Familiarity with documenting and reporting client care information.
