We deliver comprehensive technical and administrative support from project inception to completion, ensuring our clients achieve their program objectives.

Role Overview:

The Project Control Specialist will be responsible for the following:

  • Schedule Management: Develop and sustain the Owner's Schedule, ensuring alignment with project timelines.
  • Coordination: Collaborate with the Contract Compliance Administrator to integrate approved schedule modifications and change orders.
  • Performance Analysis: Evaluate the EPC Contractor's reports and communicate performance deficiencies to the Project Manager.
  • Cost Management: Work alongside the project team and EPC contractor to manage project cost models, cash flows, and risk registers.
  • Reporting: Generate and present routine updates, including:
    • 30-Day Look Ahead and subsequent 90-Day Look Ahead schedules post-FNTP
    • Critical Path Schedule
    • Milestone Reports
    • Schedule Narratives
    • Key Commodity Velocity Tracking
  • Collaboration: Interface with the EPC Contractor's scheduler and review their schedule updates.
  • Recovery Planning: Assist in the development of recovery schedules as needed.
  • Progress Tracking: Monitor and report on Critical Path Activities and discrepancies in the EPC Contractor's schedule.
  • Risk Management: Facilitate discussions on the Risk/Issue Register and maintain relevant logs.
  • Change Order Management: Maintain logs for Potential Change Orders, analyze schedule impacts, and verify cost estimates.
  • Valuation: Conduct regular assessments of contractor and subcontractor work progress.
  • Documentation Review: Validate drawings against work schedules.
  • Information Supply: Provide essential data to the Project Manager, Project Engineer, Project Controls Manager, Scheduler, and QA/QC Manager.
  • Material Monitoring: Assist in tracking installed material quantities.
  • Payment Verification: Confirm completion percentages for milestone payment approvals.
  • Project Estimates: Review and validate project estimates.
  • Team Participation: Engage in scheduled site team activities and meetings.
  • Progress Reporting: Develop and maintain monthly and weekly progress reports and observations.
  • Ad Hoc Support: Provide assistance to the Project Manager as required.
