Position Overview:
Cummings Electric is on the lookout for experienced Electrical Project Supervisors with a minimum of 5 years in the field, specifically in commercial and industrial electrical construction. This role is crucial to the electrical construction workflow, overseeing the scheduling, monitoring, and management of daily project activities, ensuring progress and performance align with established objectives. The supervisor will also be responsible for upholding site-specific safety standards and compliance regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
The following duties are essential to this position:
- Train, manage, and assess the project team
- Assist the Strategic Account Manager in developing construction schedules
- Develop and maintain schedules to optimize resource and material usage
- Efficiently plan and coordinate material and logistical requirements for projects
- Generate and maintain daily reports, timesheets, safety, and incident reports
- Facilitate production coordination and participate in meetings with other trades and clients to resolve conflicts
- Monitor production to meet or exceed labor goals
- Organize and direct production in accordance with the contracted scope of work
- Oversee quality assurance and quality control initiatives
- Coordinate with Purchasing to ensure timely delivery of materials
- Ensure all installations comply with quality and electrical code standards
- Build and nurture client relationships for ongoing project opportunities
- Design and create effective layout and record drawings
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Enforce safety policies on the job site
- 5+ years of experience in electrical construction, particularly in leading large-scale projects in the Industrial/Commercial sector
- Ability to supervise a team of 15 or more electricians
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Active Journeyman's License required
- Proficient in the National Electrical Code
- Familiarity with Bluebeam and/or Salesforce is advantageous
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially Excel, and familiar with MS Teams and SharePoint
- Strong verbal, written, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Willingness to travel as needed
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have an acceptable motor vehicle report
Employment at Cummings Electric is contingent upon a background check and drug screening. Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States.
Compensation will be commensurate with experience and demonstrated skill level.
