About the Position:

SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a highly skilled Expert SharePoint Developer - System Administrator to support our government customer in Ft. Belvoir, VA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, and manage SharePoint applications and site collections to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Monitor and remediate issues with SharePoint site collections and permissions, ensuring seamless access for authorized users.
  • Stay up-to-date with SharePoint patches and software updates, applying them promptly to maintain system integrity.
  • Migrate and sustain SharePoint site collections into new environments or hardware platforms, minimizing disruptions.
  • Lead IT projects involving SharePoint, ensuring they meet government requirements and stakeholder needs.
  • Provide expert solutions to technical problems related to SharePoint, leveraging deep knowledge of the platform.
  • Communicate effectively with government stakeholders regarding SharePoint issues and solutions, fostering strong relationships.
  • Support program/project requirements with SharePoint Enterprise features, streamlining operations.
  • Assist the project manager and client in developing schedules/timeframes for each project, ensuring timely execution.
  • Create and maintain complete and accurate documentation on all supported applications, facilitating knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with customer stakeholders to design or customize applications, focusing on optimizing operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or postgraduate degree in engineering, scientific, technical, or business management disciplines from an accredited institution.
  • In lieu of a bachelor's or postgraduate degree, must have a minimum of 5 years of experience installing, configuring, developing, and managing Microsoft SharePoint Office 365 application.
  • An active Top Secret security clearance or Secret with the ability to obtain a Top Secret.
  • Proven senior-level experience with MS 365 SharePoint Online, including migrations and updates.
  • Knowledgeable in system specifications, integration, and hardware/software compatibility.
  • Ability to lead numerous IT projects related to SharePoint, driving successful outcomes.
  • Must possess baseline and computing environment certifications for IAT-II IAW DoD 8570.01-M (CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+, CND, or SSCP).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced certifications in SharePoint development or administration (Microsoft 365 Certified: Teamwork Administrator Associate, Developer Associate; MSCE: Productivity Solutions Expert, Microsoft Power Platform Certifications (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate)).
  • Extensive experience in SharePoint migrations and updates.
  • Experience working with government systems, particularly within the DoD or Army sectors.
  • Strong background in IT project management, with a focus on SharePoint applications.

Work Environment:

  • Normal office conditions.
  • Core hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 0600 - 1700.
  • On-site work within Ft. Belvoir, VA.

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. This figure may vary depending on individual qualifications and experience.
