Nurse Extern PMPC Role

The Nurse Extern PMPC is a vital member of our patient care team, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care by performing delegated basic patient care services. Under the supervision of the registered nurse, the Nurse Extern assists in providing patient care in accordance with their skills/training and the needs of the Department.
Responsibilities- Assist the nursing staff in providing patient care, including activities of daily living.
- Consistently maintain a clean, well-organized, and safe patient care environment.
- Perform delegated basic patient care services related to common nursing functions.
- Currently enrolled and in good standing in an accredited school of nursing.
- Preferred: 1+ years of nursing school completed or as mandated by state of practice.
- Required: Current listing with Nurse Aide Registry as a Nurse Aide I.
- Required: BLS certification.
