Join our team as an ASC Administrator, responsible for the administration and supervision of all medical personnel. As a key member of our surgical center team, you will be accountable to the Sr. Vice President of Operations for coordination of all medical care given and related supporting services.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and promotion of cooperative staff effort
- Allocation and completion of assigned functions in daily operations
- Interpretation of departmental philosophy, objectives, policy, and procedure
- Assistance to surgeons through provisions of adequately prepared service team members
- Delegation of responsibilities and duties to professional, technical, and ancillary personnel
- Responsibility for performance evaluation of all department personnel
- Coordination of administrative duties to ensure proper functioning of the staff
- Coordination of the provision and control of materials, supplies, and equipment with the Director of Supply
- Coordination of activity within the O.R. suite
- Risk Manager Designee
- Other responsibilities or activities as determined by the Sr. Vice President of Operations
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Current Registered Nurse License
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
